Nestival - Art Technology and Innovation

NESTival , a talent and innovation festival organized by The Nest School, powered by Meenakshi Sundararajan college. It stood out as a festival where students didn't just compete — they learnt, created, collaborated, and engaged with cutting-edge ideas. Across two vibrant days, 400+ students from 15 schools showcased tech, art & innovation. From bold ideas to brilliant drone air showcases and IOT experiential centres— it was all there.

The NEST School: ISSO Regional Winners

At The NEST School, we celebrate passion, teamwork, and the spirit of never giving up! Our Under-11 football stars gave an incredible performance at the ISSO Regional Tournament , showcasing determination and sportsmanship in every match. A powerful start with a 4–1 victory against Athena Global School — with Priyanka shining bright by scoring 3 goals and Durriya adding one! A close battle against KC High School ended 2–3, with Priyanka finding the net twice. A tough match against The Indian Public School, Erode reminded us that every game is a lesson in growth. The team bounced back strongly with a fantastic 4–1 win against The Indian Public School, Chennai — all 4 goals scored by Priyanka! We are incredibly proud to share that Priyanka was awarded Top Goal Scorer of the ISSO Regional U-11 Tournament , and The NEST School proudly secured 3rd place among 12 schools that participated across Tamilnadu Moments like these build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and lifelong love for sports. Our PYP learners at The NEST school exemplified their understanding of the UOI Theme 'Where we are in place and time' by dressing up as innovators, archaeologists, and paleontologists and setting up the classrooms as art galleries and museums. They also advocated for the conservation of migratory animals and birds to our learning community, demonstrating the IB Learner profile attribute and the ATL's.

Academic performance is directly impacted by mental health, thus it's critical to foster behaviors that promote emotional stability. Neglecting mental health can have negative consequences for both the person and the community. This was underlined by Dr. Vidyaa, our guest speaker, who provided insightful remarks on mental health during our NAH session.

Our learners enthusiastically displayed a stunning Golu, with each figurine crafted from sustainable materials, emphasizing our commitment to the environment. To make the celebration even more energetic, the students donned traditional attire and danced Dandiya, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and rhythm. Teachers' Day is a special day in our academic calendar where we gather together to express our heartfelt gratitude to our exceptional teacher, who play an essential role in the lives of the budding learners. The learners performed a beautiful dance and an emotive song to show their role models how grateful they are on this particular day. We had a fantastic schedule of activities, games, and surprises planned to make this celebration a beautiful one to remember for our #GenNEST Guardians.

Krishna Janmashtami

Krishna Janmashtami, was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at The Nest school. The children came dressed as Radha and Krishna, adding a vibrant touch to the festivity. The learners showcased their dancing and singing talents that depicted the playful antics of Lord Krishna. The highlight of the celebration was the "butter pot" breaking event. Children tried to reach and break the pot filled with flowers, just like Krishna did as a child. Laughter and cheers filled the air as they attempted to reach the pot. Overall, the Krishna Janmashtami celebration was a joyous and culturally enriching experience, bringing learners, teachers together in celebration of Lord Krishna's birth.

We at The NEST celebrated the 77th Independence day of our Nation along with our high spirited learners. The learners showcased their unity and equality through a March parade and a lovely dance performance. Our learners also dressed up as great leaders and delivered speeches that reminded us of the bravery and sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

POCSO Workshop

The children are at the core of our policies, which are thoughtfully woven. The POCSO workshop was a yet another attempt to sensitize our facilitators about child abuse. The workshop gave a complete glimpse of the provisions of the act underscoring the significance of educators' contributions to children's safety and security.
