The NEST Advocacy Hour is a designated hour in our schedule to authentically involve Field Experts and other members of the learning community to strengthen conceptual understanding of a unit and to make our learning and teaching organically vibrant. This week, we had a #GenNEST Guardian Ms. Aarti Nelson, parent of two of our students, volunteer and take sessions on the importance of vaccination. Our young learners gathered a good understanding of the topic and were actively involved in understanding the topic.
